8th District Education Foundation

Our Commitment
Each year, the 8th District of the American Advertising Federation encourages the growth and development of advertising students in our district by hosting the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC). Advertising is essential. Through it, we sell our products, services and ideas. The NSAC provides valuable, hands-on learning experience to promising advertising and marketing students. We are asking for your financial support to continue providing students this opportunity.

Our Goal
The 8th District Education Foundation, managed by a board of directors separate from the 8th District AAF officers, was created to provide ongoing funding for the competition. Our goal is to raise $100,000 over the next five years. Once achieved, an annual annuity of approximately 10% of the Foundation fund will be used for the NSAC. Please help us in reaching that goal.

Our Strategy
In addition to your contribution, the 8th District will allocate $2,500 per year from our budget to the Education Foundation. We also challenge each of our district member clubs to raise a minimum of $1,000 per year over the next five years for the Foundation. Last fall, the trustees developed a "Who Believed in You" program. Letters and donation envelopes were sent to all members of the 8th District clubs requesting donations to the 8th District Foundation. Donors were asked "Who Believe in YOU" and they were able to designate a person who helped in their personal or professional development. Donations are still being accepted. If you would like to remember someone who helped you, just record their name and send a check made payable to 8th District Foundation. All donations are tax deductible.
