District 8 looked great as we took some of the top honors at the National ADDY awards on June 6th in Washington DC. Out of our nine National finalists, 5 were GOLD and 4 were awarded SILVER ADDY'S - way to go!!

District 8 was in excellent company: from the AAF press release:
...With more than 50,000 entries annually, the ADDY Awards are the largest advertising competition and arguably one of the toughest with three tiers of competition. The ADDY Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the U.S. This year, out of the nearly 1600 entries judged in the national competition, a total of 330 ADDY Awards were presented, including 100 GOLD and 175 SILVER for professional and 26 GOLD and 29 SILVER for student entries. Winners in the both the Professional and Student categories were celebrated during the ADDY Awards Gala with Master of Cermonies Bob Garfield.

To get through all of the above and come out with hardware, we are very proud of the winners. But a lot of terrific work was awarded at the local and regional level and we congratulate all those winners, too.
